Marta Marcheva is the new Executive Director of Sup de Luxe

The Institute of Luxury Marketing is pleased to announce the appointment of Marta Marcheva as the new Executive Director. She succeeds Thibaut de La Rivière, the founder of the Institute along with Alain Dominique Perrin and Michel Guten, and the director of Sup de Luxe since its establishment in 1990.

Holder of a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences, a graduate of the French Press Institute at the Panthéon Assas Paris 2 University, Marta Marcheva has directed her academic career towards the fields of fashion and luxury. Her various professional experiences, particularly in the education sector, will enable her to build numerous innovative projects within the Institute of Luxury Marketing, aligning with the dynamic initiated by Thibaut de La Rivière. A key player in the development of Sup de Luxe, the latter becomes the president of the Institute and will continue to play a significant role in strengthening the unbreakable ties with luxury brands and houses.

"I am delighted to join the Institute of Luxury Marketing, a historical and essential institution for both the luxury industry and the training of its talents. In fidelity to the Institute's heritage and the visionary approach of its founders, I am excited to contribute, with all the teams, to the influence of Sup de Luxe in France and internationally," expresses Marta Marcheva.

Marta Marcheva has benefited from a dual academic and professional path that led her to work in the luxury sector in France and internationally. She began her academic career at IESEG in 2009, and in 2019, she joined EFAP, where she took over the direction of the specialized Master's programs in Luxury and Fashion. As part of her responsibilities, she also developed and coordinated innovative training projects in close collaboration with professionals in the luxury industry.

"As a pioneer for 34 years in luxury management and marketing education, the Institute will continue to innovate in terms of programs, strengthen and diversify its ties with the luxury industry. Sup de Luxe will always have the mission of accompanying students in their professional development, animating communities of luxury enthusiasts, and positioning itself as a true, proactive, and committed actor to imagine and inspire the luxury of tomorrow," explains the new Executive Director of Sup de Luxe.

About Sup de Luxe

Founded at the initiative of Cartier in 1990 by Alain-Dominique Perrin and Michel Guten, the Institute of Luxury Marketing was born from a simple yet pioneering desire: to train professionals by professionals!

With its two campuses located in Paris, the capital of luxury, Sup de Luxe has been the benchmark for preparing future players in the luxury marketing sector for 34 years. Its academic excellence is recognized by luxury houses and affirmed by rankings of the best programs preparing for careers in luxury business and management (Bachelor #1 in France, MBA #3 in France, and #5 worldwide - Eduniversal ranking).

Sup de Luxe establishes an intimate connection with the actors who have shaped and continue to build the luxury industry. Since its inception, several Chairs of Excellence have been established with the aim of promoting knowledge transfer, fostering sectoral research, and offering quality education. These include the Cartier Chair, the Chair of "Excellence in Sales Professions in the Luxury Sector" with Vranken-Pommery Monopole, and the Chair of "Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Luxury Sector" with MARCH LA.B. In addition, numerous formats of meetings with experts, Keynote Speakers, and Alumni contribute to the wealth of experiences.

With these significant ties to the industry and its remarkable alumni network, the Institute continues to grow and innovate to meet the evolving needs of the market. The high placement rate of its graduates, such as approximately 96% for its "Luxury Brand Marketing & International Management" MBA, also reflects the recognition of Sup de Luxe in the sector.
