Educational goals
This joint programme between Sup de Luxe and Polimoda is dedicated to future managers who want to implement innovative business strategies in the luxury and fashion industry.
Assessment methods
The final project is focusing on the key aspects of the course, namely innovation, craftmanship and legacy. The students are asked to work in groups to indicate an innovative strategy for an Italian or French heritage brand, this to strengthen the relationship with the younger generations who will become their main future consumers.
The first part of the programme, which takes place in Paris at Sup de Luxe, is especially designed to provide understanding of luxury core essence and innovation in the business of fashion:
- • Luxury culture (French brand heritage)
- • Brand management
- • Process of creativity
- • New luxuries
- • Digital: definition, challenges and impact on luxury brand communication and social content
- • How to create a digital and communication plan
- • Newest practices in digital trends (Metaverse and IA)
This second part of the programme, which takes place in Florence at Polimoda, aims to highlight the understanding of the legacy of Italian fashion businesses in terms of values, product, and overall business management:
- • Fashion and luxury culture
- • Sociology of the imaginary
- • Leather goods
- • Merchandising planning
- • Retail management
- • Innovation strategies

The "Fashion Business: Legacy & Innovation" programme is an exclusive course that takes place in both Paris and Florence for a unique immersion in the craft and creation of fashion and luxury, combining the know-how of two institutes renowned for their expertise in these prestigious sectors: Sup de Luxe & Polimoda.
Courses at Sup de Luxe and Polimoda are taught by resident professors and professionals. In addition to classes, the curriculum combines field trips to help students connect with the luxury and fashion industry.

Polimoda represents high-level training in the fashion industry in an internationally recognised centre of excellence, located in the heart of one of the most important production areas of Made in Italy. Pace of the summer programme
This joint program implies 90 hours divided as follows: 45 hours in Paris including visits of iconic places, 45 hours in Florence including the origins of the Italian fashion industry.
