This experience offers them firsthand exposure to Italian craftsmanship and creative professions while strengthening their understanding of the global luxury industry. As part of the Annual Project, students also worked on a strategic brief developed with Balmain, exploring the Maison’s heritage to identify a leather goods piece from its archives, or an iconic design from a past collection, with the potential to be reintroduced to the French market. Combining heritage analysis, market research and brand strategy, the project immersed students in the key challenges of luxury product development and brand revitalisation.

• Barcelone, Spain: COIL Sup de Luxe x EAE Barcelone
As part of a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project developed in partnership with EAE Business School, first-year MSc in Fashion Management students worked in international teams on a strategic brief for Schiaparelli.
