Victoria Bonnamour
Expert in Fashion History and Sustainable Design

Victoria Bonnamour is the founder and creative director of Bonâme, a Paris-based fashion house inspired by historical costume design, women artists, and French artisanal savoir-faire. Through her work, she develops a timeless and sustainable wardrobe that bridges heritage, elegance, and contemporary femininity.
Born into a family deeply connected to the arts and literature, Victoria Bonnamour grew up surrounded by painting, sculpture, textiles, and creative craftsmanship. This artistic heritage, particularly through her grandmother, a sculptor trained by Antoine Bourdelle, and several generations of artists in her family, strongly shaped her creative vision and her fascination with the stories of women creators throughout history.
Passionate about fashion history and costume design from an early age, she pursued studies in management, political science, and fashion. She graduated from ESCP Business School, Sciences Po, and Institut Français de la Mode, while also training in drawing, sewing, and textile design.
Before launching her own brand, Victoria Bonnamour spent nearly twenty years working within major international groups in the luxury, beauty, and fashion industries, including L'Oréal, Yves Rocher, and LVMH. These experiences allowed her to develop a strong understanding of luxury branding, creativity, and product development.
In 2021, she founded Bonâme, a fashion label conceived as a tribute to the heroines of art, literature, and history. Each collection draws inspiration from remarkable women, from George Sand to Niki de Saint Phalle, and reinterprets historical silhouettes through a modern lens.
Bonâme is also built around a strong commitment to sustainability and local craftsmanship. The brand exclusively uses deadstock fabrics sourced from luxury fashion houses and produces its collections in small series through Parisian and French workshops. Victoria Bonnamour advocates for a slower and more meaningful approach to fashion, rooted in transmission, durability, and artisanal excellence.
Alongside her entrepreneurial activity, Victoria Bonnamour also teaches fashion history and luxury economics, sharing with students her expertise in heritage, creativity, branding, and responsible fashion. As a lecturer at Sup de Luxe, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective that combines luxury industry experience, artistic culture, and sustainable innovation.
