Courses are held from September to July: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings: 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm Saturdays: 9 am to 4 pm This timetable enables participants to pursue their professional activities or complete one or more training programmes in various firms, a necessary course for those who wish to become better acquainted with the world of luxury.

One of the strengths of the Institute is that it favours meetings with personalities who, through their success and foresight, can help the students gain a better understanding and knowledge of the world of luxury. The Institute conveys its warmest thanks to those witnesses of the world of luxury, art, politics and business management who have agreed, since 1990, to hold conferences and share their experience with the students of the Institute.

Each student must, on termination of the course, write a thesis, an in-depth analysis of a specific problem related to the subject of study. A free choice is allowed as to the topic to be treated. The end of the course is marked by the presentation of the thesis in front of a jury of professionals in that field and with expertise in the topic chosen by the student.
